About Giulia 2017 (release in 2021)
Giulia is a vintage sparkling wine, the aim of this cuvee is to highlight a specific year.
2017 was a relatively cool vintage in Karlti and in Imereti, allowing the grapes to mature slowly.
The results was an harvest in mid october with great maturity and nice acidity.
This cuvee is made only from the best juices fermented both in oak barrels and Qvevri.
Giulia stays for a minimum period of 42 months on lees in order to get richness, complexity and style.
Blend: Chinuri, Tsitska and Goruli Mstvane
Terroirs: Lamiskana (Kartli) and Terjola (Imereti) | Organic viticulture
Winemaking: 70% old French oak barrels / 30% Qvevri
Wild yeasts, no finning, no filtration
