Ephemeral 2017 Pink Revolution

Every year we will release an Ephemeral cuvee in order to experiment the diversity of the Georgian grapes variety and terroir portfolio.

This dry rose is made from an unusual  blend of 55% Kakhetian Aladasturi (Moldova), 40% Tsitska and 5% Chinuri fermented on skins for 2 months.

Grapes were directly pressed and after a light debourbage fermented in Qvevri for about 3 weeks. The wine was racked to an old 350L French oak barrel to achieve malolactic fermentation and aged back in Qvevri for another 4 months.

The wine was bottled unfined and unfiltered with a minimal amount of So2.

Production : 460 bottles

Tasting notes

In the glass, a beautiful vivid pink with bright glints.

On the nose reminiscent of small red fruits with nuances of white-fleshed stone fruits as well as liquorice.

The mouth is complex with fresh fruit flavours of wild strawberry, nice freshness showing a smooth elegance and intensity with a long finish.
