Nita is a blend of 40% Saperavi, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Rkatsiteli.
Rkatsiteli was hand harvested the 15th of September 2018,
Saperavi and Cabernet on the 9th of September.
After a meticulous sorting, 50 % of the harvest was pressed and the remaining of whole cluster fermented in Qvevri for 4 weeks on its indigenous yeast.
The wine has been racked to old French oak barrel to achieve malolactic fermentation and will age slowly for another 6 months.
The wine was bottled unfined and unfiltered with a minimal amount of So2.

In the glass, a light red color with violet hue. On the nose, lots of fruits which includes cherries and wild strawberries, licorice, backed up by smooth tannins.
Light bodied red wine, very fresh and delicate with a crisp and sapy finish. A wine with great personality and depth.
