D'UNE MER A L'AUTRE 2017

“D’une mer à l’autre” is an amber wine made from Chinuri from Lamiskana.

This wine is the creation of Cassady and Lev, 2 Canadian brothers who came to help at the winery for the inaugural harvest.

They did a tremendous work and to let them create a wine was small compensation for their huge help.

They decided to focus on a local grape of Ori Marani : Chinuri, and to make a 2 weeks maceration on skins without any sulphites added.

After this period of maceration the wine was racked to an old Domaine Lamy oak barrel to accomplish aging.

The wine was bottled unfined and unfiltered.

In case of natural sediments, we recommend to decant the wine before to serve.

The name of the cuvee refers to their country’s motto, where Bastien also spent 2 years and half working for wineries.

Originally the wine was supposed to be a one-time experience but the result is so interesting that “D’une mer à l’autre” will remain in the portfolio of Ori Marani.

Production : 290 bottles

Tasting notes

In the glass, a deep golden color with amber hue.

On the nose dried apples, whites peaches with nuances of Jasmin.

The mouth is textural and refreshing, lemon tart with fresh apricots supported by hints of acacia honey.

Long and bright finish that highlights wine’s sapidity and soul.
